Woman with head bowed and the words Under Pressure?

In Philippians 1:12–18, Paul gives a surprising report: his imprisonment has actually pushed the gospel forward. The chains that seemed to silence him only amplified Christ’s message. Others grew bold. Christ was preached. God was at work in ways no one expected.

We often assume progress comes through ease, open doors, and smooth paths. Paul shows us that God’s progress sometimes comes through pressure. What looks like a setback may be a setup for God’s glory.

As March brings new rhythms and renewed energy, let Paul’s perspective shape your own. Instead of asking, “Why is this happening?”, ask, “How is Christ being made known through this?” The gospel is never stuck. And when our hearts align with that truth, neither are we.
