The sun … moon … grass … animals … Wal-Mart. You may be asking yourself, “What do those things have in common”? Well, according to one 3-year-old boy in one of our Pre-K clubs, they are all things that God created. That’s right folks; you can all rest easy knowing that God did in fact create Wal-Mart.

Now, we all know that our creator God did not actually create Wal-Mart. But, to a small child, when you tell them that God made everything, they take that literally. They have immeasurable faith. In no way shape or form do they doubt that an all-powerful, all sovereign, and all knowing God could in fact make EVERYTHING! I mean let’s face it; God did create the things to make all the material it takes to build a Wal-Mart. He did create all the human minds that thought up Wal-Mart and the human bodies it takes to physically construct Wal-Mart. So maybe our little 3-year-old friend wasn’t too far off after all.

A lot of the time, our faith doesn’t even come close to that of a child’s. We do serve an all-powerful, all sovereign, and all knowing God. Why don’t we trust Him more often?
