The sun shining through newly bloomed trees.

As spring settles in and creation bursts with new life, Jesus’ words in Luke 6 feel especially vivid. He reminds us that “each tree is known by its own fruit.” No matter how impressive a tree may look from a distance, its true nature is revealed by what it produces.

In the same way, our lives quietly testify to what fills our hearts. Jesus says that good fruit grows from “the good treasure” stored within. That means the words we speak, the choices we make, the way we treat others—these aren’t random behaviors. They are the overflow of what we’ve allowed to take root inside us. When the heart is right, the fruit will follow.
