If you’re like at some point you have felt a sense of homesickness. We all long for something that is permanent, known, and comfortable. We long to be home. But this world isn’t it.

I love golf and have, literally, my entire life. I can’t remember the first time I ever played because I was so young. It was something I did with my dad and both of my grandfathers before they went home to be with the Lord.

Recently I was reminded of how important it is to think about to whom it is that we pray. Giving glory to God in the form of praise sets the tone of how we pray.

Every single part, even very small ones, of complicated machines like a car engine are vital to keep it running. In the same way every member of the body of Christ, the Church, is vital.

I recently had the opportunity to fulfill a long-time desire for my life. It’s something that a lot of people, if not the majority of people, do everything they can to avoid. What was it?

We must truly live like we believe that God’s mission is for the ends of the earth. No one is out of the reach of the Gospel and that is a 100% guarantee that we have from God.

John Charles Ryle, Anglican Bishop of Liverpool in the 19th century spoke of holiness this way. He said, "It is not knowledge...nor great profession...nor doing many things...nor zeal for certain matters in religion..."

Obedience is God’s love language. We must obey the commands that we are given in the Book of Jude to build ourselves and each other up, to pray together in the Holy Spirit, to wait for mercy, to have mercy on those who doubt, and to preach the gospel to the lost.
